These trip cover the Sundarbans Tiger points where wildlife are best viewed there on a 3 days cruise from Khulna or Mongla on every Friday to Sunday. we have offer the trip also visit Barisal floating markets and Bagerhat UNESCO status Heritage sites from Dhaka by an overnight ship cruise.

Sundarbans is the UNESCO status natural heritage sites intricately network by rivers, canal & creeks with the Himalayas sediments formed brackish water swamps adapted to rises the largest Mangrove Ecosystem. Itinerary

DHAKA – BARISAL – BAGERHAT & THE SUNDARBANS

Day-1: DHAKA CITY TOUR & OVERNIGHT CRUISE

Dhaka full-day city tour, in the evening board into the luxury ship where we accommodate you in the VIP cabin for an overnight cruise towards Barisal.

 

Day-2: BARISAL & BAGERHAT: 

Car drive to Banaripara from where local engine boat manually operate backwater cruise to the floating market, in the afternoon car drive towards Bagerhat city of Mosque ( World heritage sites) and continue on to Mongla. In the evening, board the sundarbans boat for overnight and we may cruise for 2 hours.

 

Day-3: Andharmanik – Kachikhali Wildlife Sanctuary

Early in the morning, the boat starts its cruise towards Kachikhali, the boat will cross many fascinating scenery while you may imagine sighting a crocodile basking in the sun, a herds of deer may be amazed by seeing under the trees or birds of prey make your journey memorable, if you lucky may found a tiger crossing the canal.

This is why – the Sundarbans is the thrilling ecological Mangrove forest of biodiversity where surviving diverse wildlife both terrestrial and aquatic species in presence of the ferocious Tiger are surviving in the act of balancing the ecological environment.

  • Late in the afternoon, walk through Kachikhali wildlife viewpoint.
  • A significant silent canal cruise will be arranged for sighting the wildlife both terrestrial and aquatic from your close while an abundance of bird species can be sighted that increase the beauty of the canal scenery.

Day-4: Kachikhali and Katka Wildlife Sanctuary Expeditions

The day is most important vicarious experiences, the day activities are –

  • Exploring the Kachikhali wildlife viewpoint after breakfast, an adventure trail from Kachikhali to Katka maximum 8km through dense forest and miles of silvery sands along the ocean is a very breathtaking adventure which may imagine by wild animals and make your time more enjoyable at Katka beach.
  •  In the afternoon on arrival at Katka, you will be taken to the ship for lunch.
  • At around 03:00 PM, nature treks in the Tiger point where many deer and monkeys are frequent habitats to survive under the keora trees. This place along the Bay of Bengal is captivating and threaded to travelers whereas Tiger often roars beyond the Tiger hill.
  • Before sunset, we arrange a silent boat cruise through creeks to see the wildlife from very close.
  • In the evening our boat started a return cruise to reach nearby Chandpai, enjoy BBQ dinner.
  • Overnight in tourist boat room 

 

Day-5: Fisherman village – Dolphin Watch + Crocodile Breeding Center 

  • At 06:00 AM boat trip along the forest & fisherman village, walk around fisherman village.
  • Enjoy Karamjal crocodile breeding center, Animal Park & watch dolphins before ending the cruise.
  • Mongla to Dhaka by Ac bus journey ( 5 hours )

Regular Tour Itinerary

Day-01: Dhaka City Tour and Launch cruise towards Hularhat nearby Bagerhat

Start from your hotel early in the morning by A/C car. The day is involved in the overloaded city is being chaos by the mixed people, key attractions, and historical places from Mughal-British period like Sadarghat (riverfront), Nawab’s (King’s) Palace which is also known as Ahsan Manzil or ‘Pink Palace’, Lalbagh Fort, Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Dhakeswari Temple, National Parliament Building. In the evening board into the British built rocket steamer/ship first-class cabin to enjoy the rivers of life while our guide will story a tale about the peoples and culture of the river.

 

Day-02: World Heritage Site – The City of Mosque at Bagerhat.

You will find the sun rising over the river at Barisal while many passengers are leaving and coming in the steamer. it is fantastic on the way to cruise to Hularhat around the rare scenic beauty. Around 10:00 AM disembark the steamer for Bagerhat once Khalitabad city of Khan Jahan Ali who was the saint and independent ruler of southwest Bangladesh during the Medieval sultanate rule in the 15th Century when he built many mosques and water reservoir including the Sixty Dome Mosque over the spiritual nature saved by Khan Jahan Ali. Visit Sixty Dome Mosque and shrine of Khan Jahan Ali before heading Mongla from Hularhat. Spend your evening at the nearest river ports-bazaars or have rest for the day. Night stay at the hotel or Sundarbans boat.

 

Day-03: Sundarbans: Herbaria & Kochikhali Wildlife Sanctuary.

Early in the morning, the boat starts its cruise to Chandpai where you can watch dolphin meantime our forest guard joining into the boat in the way of the Sundarban forest cruise, the boat or ship cross much fascinating scenery while you may imagine sighting a crocodile basking in the sun, a herd of deer may be amazed by seeing under the trees or birds of prey make your journey memorable. Visit Harbaria Eco-Center and start the journey again. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Kochikhali Forest area and make a canal cruise that will be arranged for watching wildlife. Night stay at the boat in Kochikhali.

 

Day-04: Sundarbans: Kachikhali and Katka Wildlife Sanctuary.

Start your day with a small boat cruise through the creeks and experience the sound of birds and watch wildlife in front of your eyes. After breakfast, a journey from Kochikhali to Katka would be a wonderful experience of watching wildlife. Walk inside the deep forest, climb to the watchtower and go for Jamtola Sea Beach before lunch. In the afternoon on arrival Katka Forest area, to explore Tiger & Deer points where many deer and monkey are common habitats to survive under the Keora trees. Enjoy sunset at the Bay of Bengal and B-B-Q dinner on the boat. Night stay on the boat.

 

Day-05: Sundarbans & Dhaka: Dolphin Watch, Crocodile Breeding Center.

On the last day of the adventure, make a canal cruise in the morning, visit a fishing village and experience their lifestyle.  Watch Dolphins at Daingmari range and cruise toward Karamjal Crocodile breeding center (Zoo). After having lunch, depart from the boat and drive toward Jessore Airport. Fly Dhaka with the experience of a wonderful expedition.

Notes:

  • Timing and assembling could change because of traffic.
  • Bengali local food is spicy. Plain rice, vegetables, fish & meat are available in restaurants. (Non-spicy food is possible to order at most of the restaurant.)
  • It requires modest clothes to visit any mosque.
  • The dress of shorts is not a problem in the Sundarbans area.
  • Ahsan Manzil is closed on Thursday and opens Fridays after 3:00 pm. Lalbagh Fort is closed on Sundays and open on Mondays after 2:00 pm. Ahsan Manzil and Lalbagh Fort are also closed on government holidays.
  • The small boats are best for the Sundarbans. The room size is quite smaller, no running hot water, electricity is supplied by the battery, and the small generator to charge up the electrical devices. But it’s comfortable to spend days with the facilities. You must carry mosquito repellent for the trip. No phone signal works inside the deeper forest, but at some point, you will get a phone signal to call an emergency.  The chance of seeing tigers is very rare in the Sundarbans.
