A cruise on Sitalakhya River by tourist boats with modern facilities for maximum 60 peoples to cover Murapara Zamindar palace and Jamdani sharee weaving factories.

You stop by many Villages, bazaars, see the real lifestyle, and enjoy the different folk cultural programs in different villages in the evening. A cruise on pristine and virgin river of Sitalakhya and other rivers will introduce you to riverine Bangladesh and her history, culture, and lifestyle. It is like a documentary filming trip before your eyes.

Itinerary

Full-Day River Cruise at Shitalakhya River

After pick-up, you will drive to Kanchan bridge Ghat near 300 feet road of Bashundhara Dhaka. Board at the awaiting boat and start cruising on the Sitalakhya river. Have welcome drinks and enjoy the cruise.
After 2 hours, the boat will reach a place name- Noapara village to show the traditional and famous Jamdhani weaving. It is also possible for you to buy pieces of Jamdhani clothes here as a souvenir. Stop at Murapara, here you can visit an old Zamindar’s palace now converted into a college. The cruising will continue northward for another hour before turning back, you may see the Gangetic Dolphins on the river.
Lunch will be served at 1:00 pm and have tea/coffee with cookies before finishing the tour.
In the evening, stop at Kanchan bridge and finish the trip.
