These Photo expeditions have been design to covered the whole Bangladesh photogenic places during Candle light pray festival is highly celebrated by the thousands of Hindu pilgrimage from on 2nd to 14th November.
Rakher upobash is a beautiful and deeply spiritual blessing perceived by the Hindu communities of Bangladesh from Shri Shri Loknath Brahammachari. Locally known as “Kartik bhroto”, it is held on every Saturday and Tuesday of those 15 days Fasting and praying to the gods, sitting before the Shri Shri Loknath Brahammachari Ashram at Barodi, among the Swami Bagh temple. The fast is observed from sunrise to sunset, and during this time, devotees withdraw from food and water. It is also a test of their belief system to refine their minds and bodies.
Photography Expeditions of the given cultural environment during flake of scented smoke rise, melding with the glowing rows of candlelight is fascinating, with devotees singing devotional songs, lighting earthen lamps, and acting various rituals to appease the deity. This tradition not only blasting the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh but also leads people of different faiths and belief system, strengthen the line of unity and peace. Rakher Upobash is truly a beautiful pilgrimage candlelight festival that represents the true spirit of Bangladesh’s cultural identity.
