Day-01: DHAKA ARRIVAL & CITY TOUR

Our guide met and greets to check-in hotel if time permits visit the grandeur of new Dhaka.

Overnight in Dhaka at Fars hotel & Resorts ( 4-star)

Day-02: Full-day Dhaka Tour and Overnight luxury cruise towards Barisal

* At 06:30 AM car drive to visit the peoples expressions in the vegetables and flowers wholesale markets,

* rest of the day activities in the Mughal capital of Dhaka which was ruled by Sultans, Mughal Emperor, the British and local Zamindar. Each of them left their political, purposeful and religious aspects of symbolic structures that hold the past glory of Dhaka. Stroll around monuments and Museum, it is also interesting walk through the old Dhaka alley for seeing the demolishing heritage buildings before embarking on a giant ship for an overnight luxury cruise to Barisal.

Day-03: Barisal floating market & The City Of Mosque at Bagerhat

* Upon arrival early in the morning at Barisal is the low lying plains of Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna river basin from where direct car drive to have a look the laid back lifestyle of traditional farmers on a engine boat while backwater cruise to the floating markets, all the peoples are peasants who laden their grains by canoe boat at every morning in the floating markets.

*  You will visit a village to know their lifestyle and orientation. Continue on to Bagerhat visiting the grandeur of medieval Bengal time built the city of Mosque  at Bagerhat including the sixty domed Mosque ( World heritage site), continue on to Mongla. our boat will start its cruise up to Andharmanik forest range.

Day-04: Andharmanik – Kachikhali Wildlife Sanctuary

Early in the morning, the boat starts its cruise towards Kachikhali, the boat will cross many fascinating scenery while you may imagine sighting a crocodile basking in the sun, a herds of deer may be amazed by seeing under the trees or birds of prey make your journey memorable, if you lucky may found a tiger crossing the canal.

this is why – the Sundarbans is the thrilling ecological Mangrove forest of biodiversity where survive diverse wildlife both terrestrial and aquatic species in presence of the ferocious Tiger are surviving in the act of balance of the ecological environment.

*  Late in the afternoon, walk through Kachikhali wildlife viewpoint.

* a significant silent canal cruise will be arranged for sighting the wildlife both terrestrial and aquatic from your close while an abundance of bird species can be sighted that increase the beauty of the canal scenery.

Day-05: Kachikhali and Katka Wildlife Sanctuary Expeditions

The day is most important vicarious experiences, the day activities are –

  • Explore Kachikhali wildlife viewpoint after breakfast adventure trail from Kachikhali to Katka maximum 8km through dense forest and miles of silvery sands along the ocean is very breathtaking adventure may imagine by wild animals and make your time more enjoyable at Katka beach.
  •  in the afternoon on arrival Katka, you will be taken to the ship for lunch.
  • at around 03:00 PM, nature treks in the Tiger point where many deer and monkeys are frequently habitats to survive under the keora trees. This place along the Bay of Bengal is captivating and threaded to travelers whereas Tiger often roars beyond the Tiger hill.
  • before sunset, we arrange silent boat cruise through creeks to see the wildlife from very close.
  • In the evening our boat started return cruise to reach nearby Chandpai, enjoy BBQ dinner.

Day-06: Fisherman village – Dolphin Watch + Crocodile Breeding Center 

*  At 06:00 AM boat trip along the forest & fisherman village, walk around fisherman village.

*  Enjoy Karamjal crocodile breeding center, Animal Park & watch dolphins before ending the cruise. A car drive to Khulna takes you off the hotel.

Overnight stay in City Inn or  hotel Tiger garden

Day-07: Khulna – Rajshahi – Putia – Natore or Varendra museum ( Thursday half & Friday off )

* At 05:30 take your seat in the Kapotakhyo express train, Upon arrival check in hotel then quick lunch or packet lunch from city restaurant afterwards –

* You may interest either to visit Varendra research museum may be considered as a historic door for learning the culture and heritage of the then society since the museum hold various sculptures, statues, antiquities, artifacts, tools, folklore, pottery, metal and bronze crafts, ancient articles and relics showcased to look back the meaningful and glorious past of ancient Bangladesh.

*  or drive to visit Natore Maha raja palace to have a look the European architectural terracotta palace and Putia Temples town.

Day-08: Paharpur & Mahasthan – The Buried City and its Iconic cultural sites 

Early in the morning started the day for Paharpur somapura Mahavihara which was the single largest monastery built during the Pala dynasty when arts and architecture combined to represents this superstructure as an icon of Buddhist civilization for which the UNESCO status World heritage cultural built sites. On the way, stroll around precious stone built Kushumba Mosque.

in the afternoon while reach at Bogra after quick lunch, secondly, few km drive to look back the glorious past in the remains of Mahasthan fortress city where buried 1800 years of history and cultures of the urban settlement during the Pundra Kingdom. Visit Mahasthan museum and ruins of the fortress city.

at 2:00 PM drive to visit Vashu Vihara – the largest ancient monastery and Gokul meth – the legendary Hindu story behind the ruins.

Day-09: Explore Sariakandi Jamuna Char Village – drive to Dhaka

Early morning drive to largest wholesale vegetable market and resume drive to Sariakandi exploring a char village of Jamuna river to experience the rivers of life! after having lunch started drive back to Dhaka, lunch will be served from Hwy restaurant.

Day-10: Departure Dhaka and Ends The Tour At Airport

Notes:

  • Launch ship ( everyday) and launch Steamer is available on Thursday and Monday only.
  • Timing and assembling could change because of traffic.
  • Bengali local food is spicy. Plain rice, vegetables, fish & meat are available in restaurants. (Non-spicy food is possible to order at most of the restaurant.)
  • It requires modest clothes to visit any mosque.
  • The dress of shorts is not a problem in the Sundarbans area.
  • Ahsan Manzil is closed on Thursday and opens Fridays after 3:00 pm. Lalbagh Fort is closed on Sundays and open on Mondays after 2:00 pm. Ahsan Manzil and Lalbagh Fort are also closed on government holidays.
  • The small boats are best for the Sundarbans. The room size is quite smaller, no running hot water, electricity is supplied by the battery, and the small generator to charge up the electrical devices. But it’s comfortable to spend days with the facilities. You must carry mosquito repellent for the trip. No phone signal works inside the deeper forest, but at some point, you will get a phone signal to call an emergency.  The chance of seeing tigers is very rare in the Sundarbans.
